U.Md. students robbed at gunpoint

WASHINGTON – Two University of Maryland students were robbed at gunpoint Friday night.

Prince George’s County police say the students were walking along Lakeland Road in College Park when they were approached by two people, who pulled out guns and then robbed the students.

Police say the suspects were male and wore dark clothing. One of them wore a black, half mask.

The students called police from the corner of Lakeland and Rhode Island Avenue about 11:20 p.m.
