WASHINGTON — A plane skidded off the runway Monday at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.
In inclement weather, the United 737 touched down without incident, but as it attempted to turn off the runway onto an adjacent taxiway, it turned too wide and some of the plane’s wheels left the tarmac and got stuck in the grass along the runway.
Before the landing, the pilot of Flight 1545 warned passengers to prepare for a bumpy ride due to the weather, Mashable reports.
No injuries were reported.
Shuttles then ferried passengers from the plane to the terminal.
