Onaje Robinson, 42, of Germantown is on unpaid administrative leave from Seneca Valley High School in Germantown. A school letter sent to parents Wednesday said charges against Robinson are not related to any Montgomery County Public Schools students.

Police said Robinson communicated online for about a week with an Anne Arundel County 14-year-old before meeting the girl in person.

Early Aug. 20, Robinson picked up the girl outside her home and took her to his apartment for sex, then returned her home about 5 a.m. police said.

“The victim told investigators that she told Robinson that she was 14 years old,” police said in a news release.

Charges against Robinson include third-degree sexual offense and second-degree assault.

Robinson currently has a legal case against him underway in Montgomery County Circuit Court for repeated failures to pay child support.

Anyone with information related to the sex charges against Robinson is asked to call police at 240-773-5400.
