Missing Montgomery County twins, 12, found safe

WASHINGTON — Two  Montgomery County 12-year-old twin girls have been found safe and unharmed after they went missing Monday.

On Tuesday, Montgomery County police said Blanca Oliva Callejas and Karen Oliva Callejas were found safe and unharmed after they were last seen in the area of Veirs Mill and Randolph roads in Silver Spring, Maryland, at 4 p.m. Monday.

They were near the Rite Aid store in the shopping center located at Randolph and Veirs Mill roads, according to police.

Police say the girls were found Tuesday morning, but did not release any additional details about where they were found.
