New Waldorf urgent care clinic includes concussion care

WASHINGTON — Annapolis, Maryland-based Righttime Medical Care has opened its newest urgent care center, at 3350 Crain Highway, in the Shoppers World shopping center in Waldorf.

The new location is the company’s first in Charles County and the 14th overall in Maryland.

In addition to urgent care services for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, the Waldorf location also includes its HeadFirst Sports Injury and Concussion Care program.

The HeadFirst program works with trainers and coaches through a concussion awareness program, and offers diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of mild traumatic brain injuries. Services include post-injury medical evaluations and neurocognitive testing.

The 5,600-square-foot Waldorf location is staffed from 7 a.m. to midnight, 365 days a year.

The center accepts walk-in patients and offers same-day appointments. Services include on-site digital X-rays and lab testing.

Righttime Medical Care’s official Waldorf grand opening is July 14.
