It is part of a multiyear partnership between the two. Dogfish began supporting the National Aquarium as part of its corporate membership program in 2010. Its philanthropic contributions will help fund National Aquarium research programs, including research on Northwest Atlantic populations of sand tiger and sandbar sharks.

SeaQuench Ale is a session sour made with lime peel, lime juice, black lime and sea salt.

Dogfish Head is now the official craft beer of the National Aquarium, and will be on the menu at the aquarium’s cafe and at special events.

Dogfish describes SeaQuench as featuring three different German-style beers blended into a citrus-tart union.

SeaQuench’s label will include the National Aquarium’s logo and will be available beginning Aug. 1.
