WASHINGTON — Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker plans to run for governor in Maryland in 2018.
In a campaign video released Wednesday morning, Baker touts his work in the General Assembly and as Prince George’s County executive.
Baker joins former NAACP President Ben Jealous, State Sen. Richard Madaleno and former State Department official Alec Ross who have officially declared to run on the Democratic side.
Republican Gov. Larry Hogan is seeking a second term in office.
