Murder suspect arrested in Florida for Elkridge murder

WASHINGTON — Timothy Mark Fuller has been arrested Sunday morning in Jacksonville, Florida by a police officer making routine area checks in a parking lot, according to the Howard County Police Department.

Timothy Fuller was taken into police custody without incident. Howard County Police will work with Florida authorities. Fuller, 53, was wanted for the murder of his sister-in-law, 39-year-old Stacey Fuller.

Stacey Fuller was found dead around 10:35 a.m. during a fire at the Capitol Mobile Park. According to the Howard County Police Department, she had apparently been shot.

No one else was home at the time of the fire, but police said four dogs inside the residence also died in the incident. Their cause of death is still being determined.

Timothy Fuller was also wanted for arson. Police said they believe Timothy Fuller killed Stacey Fuller, his brother’s wife, and then set fire to the trailer before getting away in a 2005 white Ford Focus.
