Police: Possible Uber driver sexually assaulted woman in D.C.

WASHINGTON — Police are searching for a possible Uber driver who sexually assaulted a woman in Northwest D.C. over the weekend.

A woman was forcibly sexually assaulted in the Unit block of Grant Circle in Northwest between 2 a.m. and 3:50 a.m. Sunday.

The suspected is described as a black man between 25 and 35 years old with a dark complexion and a short haircut. The suspect wore a white shirt at the time of the crime.

Police say the suspect is possibly an Uber driver and was seen driving a white sports car-type vehicle with black leather seats.
