WASHINGTON — North Bethesda, Maryland’s Pike & Rose mixed-use development is adding a Nando’s Peri-Peri to its long, and still growing, roster of places to eat.
Nando’s will open April 23 at 922 Rose Ave., its 42nd location, most of which are in the Washington area. The Pike & Rose Nando’s opening comes less than two weeks after it opened a location at Rosslyn’s Central Place complex next to the Rosslyn Metro.
Nando’s will hold its official Pike & Rose grand opening April 28, and donate 100 percent of sales on grand opening day to the music program at Walter Johnson High School in North Bethesda. Walter Johnson choir and band members will make performance appearances.
Nando’s Rosslyn grand opening April 12 raised $7,000 for DC United’s charity partner DC SCORES, which runs after school programs for at-risk D.C.-area youth.
Nando’s said it has raised more than $250,000 for public schools and nonprofit organizations over the past several years.
Pike & Rose has a broad mix of dining choices, with a dozen restaurants, both fast casual and formal, open and at least eight others coming soon.
