Metro employee arrested after fight with coworker

WASHINGTON – Police arrested a Metro employee after a fight with another worker Wednesday afternoon.

Around 3 p.m. Wednesday, two Metro employees got into an altercation at the manager’s kiosk at the Pentagon station. Police responded and arrested the station manager for assault, Metro spokesman Richard Jordan said in an email.

The other employee was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

Metro service was not affected by the altercation.

Officials have not released any additional details about the nature of the altercation.
