WASHINGTON — The Alexandria, Virginia police are investigating a hit-and-run that left a woman dead on Thursday morning.
She was struck on Commonwealth Avenue and Braddock Road at about 9:20 a.m., police spokeswoman Crystal Nosal says. Police don’t know yet whether she was crossing the street, or whether she was on foot or on a bike.
They’re asking anyone who saw anything regarding the accident to call 703-746-6873.
