Stepping up to help those who can not!
It is hard to imagine being told that your child has a disease that is as awful as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, that's what happened to Dana and Joel Wood of Alexandria, Virginia. Their son James Wood was diagnosed in May 2000 with the disease that is as they say "incurable," and largely known as "untreatable." That's why they created the Foundation to Eradicate Duchenne, a 501c(3) organization"with the goal of finding treatments and an ultimate cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, the world's leading lethal childhood genetic disease."
