Among those of us still without power are thousands of lower ranking members of the military (as in the lowest paid). Because many have lost a lot of food to the power outage and heat Operation Homefront DC Metro Chapter stands ready to provide grocery gift cards and commissary food vouchers to any active duty military family, E6 and below to replace food lost due to power outages and high heat. In order to do this Operation Homefront needs our help. As an example A donation of $100 will replace a week's worth a groceries for a family of four.
