WASHINGTON - Jeff Daniels may have just won an Emmy for his portrayal of hard- hitting journalist Will McAvoy on HBO's "The Newsroom," but he hasn't let the accolades go to his head.
The one-time comedian-turned-dramatic-actor took to Twitter Tuesday to post a photo of him and Jim Carrey filming "Dumb and Dumber To" in Atlanta:
Carrey also tweeted a picture from the set, showing the actors holding a children's book written by Carrey:
How Roland Rolls comes out TODAY but it may be a little too sophisticated for Lloyd and Harry! Yep... THEY'RE BAAAAA… http://t.co/bhrYxNPKbv— Jim Carrey (@JimCarrey) September 24, 2013
Daniels recently told HollywoodLife.com the original 1994 movie "pales in comparison" to some of the antics audiences can expect in the follow-up, which is slated to be released sometime next year.
"The scariest thing? There are some things that's we're going to do in 'Dumb and Dumber To' that make the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame," he said.
Filming for the sequel reportedly started Tuesday.
