WASHINGTON – Andy Griffith, a television actor known best for his roles on “The Andy Griffith Show” and “Matlock,” has died, TMZ and NBC affiliate WITN report.
He was 86.
Griffith died at his Dare County, N.C. home around 7 a.m., WITN News reports.
