Weekly Crime Report: Aug. 4 to Aug. 11

Montgomery County Police got a report of a man looking into a window near the Grosvenor Metro station, plus the rest of the most recent 2nd District crime summary:

A peeping tom incident occurred in the 10400 block of Montrose Avenue in Bethesda at 12:30 a.m. The suspect was looking into a window.

Suspect: W/M, 5’8″ in light colored clothing; Vehicle: 4D sedan, possibly gray 

A residential burglary occurred in the 2700 block of Spencer Road in Chevy Chase on Friday, 8/8 at 4:36 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 3400 block of Taylor Street in Chevy Chase between Tuesday, 8/5 and Sunday, 8/10. Forced entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary occurred overnight between Wednesday, 8/6 and Thursday 8/7 near the Rock Creek Forest Elementary School construction site, 8330 Grubb Road in Chevy Chase. Property was taken.

A commercial robbery occurred on Thursday, 8/7 at 1:49 p.m. at the M&T Bank, 7920 Norfolk Avenue in Bethesda.

A residential burglary occurred in the 4500 block of Highland Avenue in Bethesda between Wednesday, 8/6 and Thursday, 8/7. Unknown entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 4400 block of Rosedale Avenue in Bethesda overnight between Sunday, 8/10 and Monday, 8/11. No forced entry; nothing taken.

Three thefts from vehicles occurred overnight between Monday, 8/04 and Tuesday, 8/05 on Clarendon Road and Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda. Two noted no signs of forced entry, while the event on Bradley involved force. Assorted items found inside taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at River Rx, 5257 River Road in Bethesda at 1:37 a.m. on Monday, 8/11. Forced entry; property taken.

A commercial burglary ocurred overnight between Thursday, 8/07 and Friday, 8/08 at the National Spine & Pain Center, 5550 Friendship Boulevard in Chevy Chase. Forced entry; property taken.
