Cano back in lineup after feeling ill

SEATTLE (AP) — Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano is in the starting lineup on Monday night, a day after removing himself from a game during an inning after feeling ill.

Manager Lloyd McClendon confirmed that Cano was feeling better and that nobody else caught the illness. First baseman Logan Morrison missed Saturday’s game due to a similar illness.

Cano leads the Mariners with a .326 batting average and is reaching base at a clip of .394.
