BALTIMORE (AP) — The Maryland National Guard is welcoming home about 200 members of the 1229th Transportation Company from their nearly yearlong deployment to Afghanistan.
The ceremony is Saturday afternoon in Baltimore.
The Baltimore-based unit conducted operations at the Kandahar Trans-shipment Yard.
