Gas prices are down 7 cents in a week

WASHINGTON – There is a little less pain at the pump. WTOP’s Pain in the Gas Survey finds gas prices are down across the board in the area.

Regular gas is down by 7 cents to $3.85 a gallon.

Mid-grade dropped 11 cents to $4.06 a gallon, and premium fell double digits by 10 cents to $4.20.

Diesel is down 4 cents to $4.15.

A year ago this week, regular gas was 34 cents cheaper at $3.51 a gallon. Mid-grade was $3.67 and premium, $3.80. Diesel was $3.94.
