WASHINGTON - Human skeletal remains were discovered in the woods behind a residence in Prince William County Wednesday night.
Prince William police, detectives and crime scene technicians have been in the area around Yolanda Lane since the discovery was made at around 7 p.m.
They say the remains are from an adult, but the sex, race, age and other factors are currently unknown.
The investigation is ongoing. Police will release more information as it becomes available.
