WASHINGTON - A woman was taken to the hospital Monday after she was hit by a vehicle near the Rockville Metro Station.
Montgomery Country police say the driver left the scene.
The collision occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the 200 block of North Stonestreet Avenue. The man was driving a black or dark blue vehicle with a spoiler on the back and Maryland tags. There was a small child in the back.
The vehicle was last seen on Rockville Pike.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Montgomery County police at 301-279-8000.
