WOODBRIDGE, Va. -- A pickup truck crashed through the front door of a Woodbridge family's home as they were getting ready for work and school Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at the intersection of Cardinal Drive and Choate Court just after 8 a.m. Faso Alomdah says his wife and daughter were on the second floor of the house when the truck plowed into the front of the home.
"I just thank God for his grace because everyone came out of the house safe and nobody was hurt and that's a miracle," Alomdah says.
Prince William County police say five teenagers -- four girls and one boy, all 14 or 15 years old -- stole the Chevy Silverado earlier Tuesday morning in Manassas after walking away from an emergency shelter home.
The group dropped off one of the girls, police say. Then the others went on a ride that ended in a police chase and the crash into the house.
Carolyn Sadler, who lives across the street from the home, says she heard the crash.
"I could never have imagined that it would be a truck going through somebody's house," she says.
Police say the five teenagers are from Woodbridge, Manassas, Warrenton and Dumfries. All face charges that include grand larceny. They were being held at a juvenile detention center.
No one was hurt in the incident.
