Woman Falls from Ballston Building, Lands on Car

Police and firefighters on scene of a woman who fell from Randolph Towers in Ballston (photo courtesy @zippychance)(Updated at 1:55 p.m.) A woman has reportedly fallen from a building in Ballston and landed on a car.

Initial reports suggest the woman jumped from the Randolph Towers apartment building, at 4001 9th Street N., and landed on a car on 9th Street.

The woman has died, according to police radio traffic. Investigators are on scene trying to determine from where the woman fell.

A witness tells ARLnow.com the woman jumped from the top of the building, wearing only underwear and socks.

A man died after jumping or falling from the Randolph Towers in April 2011.
