Target tests Pinterest-powered online storefront

Target Corp. has taken its love for social-media website Pinterest to the next level.

The popular big box store has launched Target Awesome Shop, a new e-commerce website that is powered entirely by Pinterest recommendations, according to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

The site curates and ranks Target products that are most frequently pinned by Pinterest users. The site also only includes products that have at least four-star guest reviews or no reviews at all.

Target Awesome Shop is currently in beta testing.
