Men pose as Comcast workers to break into DC home

WASHINGTON – Two men posed as Comcast workers Saturday in order to burst into a home in Northwest D.C.

At 4 p.m., the men forced their way into a home on the 600 block of Harvard Street NW after asking the homeowner if they wanted to participate in a Comcast survey.

D.C. police say the resident was not harmed and nothing was taken.

The two men escaped in a burgundy Suburban with a Maryland license plate. The tag number is 9AF-8655.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
