4 days, 310 miles for Operation Second Chance

The ride of your life to raise funds supporting our wounded American heroes.

Ride Allegheny, a local organized bike ride of over 100 riders, will pedal from downtown Pittsburgh to Smoky Glen Farm in Gaithersburg for a total of 310 miles over 4 days.  The ride begins on September 29th and ends at Smoky Glen on October 2nd.  Ride Allegheny raises funds for Operation Second Chance in Germantown.  This year’s goal is to raise over $400,000 while shining a spotlight on PTSD and the role it plays in veteran suicides.Operation Second Chance

Operation Second Chance is committed to serving our wounded, injured and ill combat veterans.  They support our veterans and their families by identifying their needs and filling in the gaps where government programs have fallen short.  Operation Second Chance is dedicated to promoting public awareness of the many sacrifices made by our Armed Forces.
