LONDON (AP) — Former Google executive Matt Brittin has been announced as the new director-general of the BBC.
The appointment comes as the U.K.’s national broadcaster faces an uncertain future and a $10 billion lawsuit from President Donald Trump.
Brittin’s predecessor Tim Davie resigned over criticism of how the broadcaster edited a 2021 speech by Trump in a documentary.
