PHNOM PENH, Cambodia (AP) — The Associated Press has withdrawn its story about the arrest of South Korean nationals at a scam center in Cambodia. The Cambodian government released a statement on Oct. 23 saying that a South Korean delegation had visited the site of an online scam center in Cambodia where a raid was carried out and 57 South Korean nationals arrested. South Korean and Cambodian authorities later clarified that while the visit to the compound took place on Oct.22, according to the South Korean Foreign Ministry, the raid and arrests at the site were conducted back in July. AP will publish a new version of the story.
