Pope Francis turns the camera on himself for 1st time

WASHINGTON — Pope Francis has been known for happily posing for selfies with fans during his addresses and his world travels, so it was probably just a matter of time before he snapped one himself.

The photos was posted on the Vatican’s Instagram account (Vatican__) on Monday morning; it’s topped 8,000 likes in only four hours, and it’s as joyous-looking as you’d expect:
