We’ll round out the week cool, but sunnier skies are expected. Daytime highs will be a few degrees higher than Thursday, but still below the seasonal average. It will be dry for your Friday and Friday night plans.
FRIDAY NIGHT:
Mostly cloudy to overcast
Lows: 48-52
Winds: Southeast 5 mph
Clouds will increase and thicken overnight, as our next weather maker approaches. No rain is expected with tonight’s cloud cover.
SATURDAY:
Cloudy, chance of afternoon showers
Highs: 60-65
Winds: Southeast 5-10+ mph
Saturday will be the cooler weekend day with highs still below average, in the low to mid 60s. A warm front will approach the area bringing a chance for a few showers, especially along the Blue Ridge.
SUNDAY:
Mostly sunny
Highs: 82-87
Winds: Southwest 5-10 mph
A significant warming trend begins Sunday with afternoon highs well into the 80s. Humidity levels will remain low, but it will be a dramatic change compared to the cooler than average temperatures. Remember to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen, as our UV index continues to increase this time of year.
