No one hurt when Va. school bus crashes into cemetery

CHESTER, Va. (AP) — No injuries have been reported after a school bus crashed into a cemetery in Virginia.

Media outlets reported that no children were aboard the bus early Tuesday morning when it crashed into Sunset Memorial Park in Chester.

Chesterfield County police said the bus and a sport-utility vehicle were traveling east when the SUV drove into the bus’ lane, forcing the bus to run off the road, through a fence and into the cemetery.

Police said the fence and some headstones were damaged. The driver of the SUV was charged with improper passing.
