The indictments are for the following charges:
- Felony uttering a forged public record;
- Felony conspiracy to utter forged record;
- Felony inducing perjury
- Perjury.
Morrissey, who was re-elected while serving a six-month sentence for a sex scandal conviction, is scheduled to appear in court on the new charges Feb. 9.
Morrissey was convicted last month of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Prosecutors accused him of having sex with a 17-year-old girl who worked for him as a receptionist. Morrissey and the teenager, now 18 and pregnant, have denied it.
The alleged forged document was purportedly a court order involving the family of the teenager, The Washington Post and CBS 6 report.
