WASHINGTON — Beloved game show host Bob Barker was reunited with his fans and the set of his long running show “The Price is Right” for what was more of an April Fools’ Day surprise, then prank.
As the announcer introduced current host Drew Carey, out walked Barker.
“I was selected by ‘The Price is Right’ to be their April Fool,” he said. “The world is full of fools. But I am a carefully selected fool and it is a pleasure to be with you.”
The audience went nuts. They jumped, they shrieked and they gave “I’m not worthy” style bows.
“I have never had a welcome like that,” a smiling Barker said.
