WASHINGTON – Okay, it’s the off-season for Tom Brady. And on Monday at Fenway Park in Boston, his first-pitch appearance for the Red Sox didn’t exactly call on him to throw the kind of ball he’s used to throwing.
Still, you’d think a professional thrower of things could do better than this:

It’s not 50 Cent bad, but it’s pretty bad. Brady owes the Sox’ David Ortiz dinner, because if the ball had rolled all the way to the backstop, the damage would’ve been even worse.
Of course, that’s about the only thing that went wrong for the home team on Monday. The Red Sox beat the Nats, 9-4.
