Best Black Friday sales for 2017

Black Friday falls on Nov. 24 in 2017, but many major stores have already announced — and even launched — their Black Friday sales.

From a retail perspective, it makes sense. A survey from Offers.com found that as many as 43 percent of shoppers plan to start shopping between early November and Cyber Monday.

Read on for the list of top Black Friday sales for 2017 that have been announced. Keep in mind that hours may vary depending on location and mall openings, so be sure to check with your local stores before heading out.

Amazon
Starts Nov. 17 at midnight PST.

Though Amazon’s “official” Black Friday sale won’t begin until Nov. 17, the tech giant has been running “Countdown to Black Friday” deals since Nov. 1. More deals are expected to be announced on Nov. 17. Here are confirmed deals from the Black Friday sale:

— $30 off a Kindle Paperwhite e-reader (available Nov. 19).

— $30 off an Amazon Echo Plus (available Nov. 23).

— $20 off an all-new Fire 7 Tablet (available Nov. 23).

— $20 off an Amazon Cloud Cam Indoor Security Camera (TBA).

Best Buy
Open 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving
Open 8 a.m. on Black Friday

Notorious for drawing long lines of shoppers — including those who camp out overnight — with Black Friday deals, Best Buy goes big on the shopping holiday. Best Buy released its Black Friday ad recently, promising doorbusters and “thousands of deals.” The store is already tempting consumers with hundreds of pre-Black Friday offers.

Highlights from the sale include:

— $125 off iPad Mini 4 (available now).

— $250 off select MacBook models (available now).

— $150 off an LG 43-inch Class LED Smart 4K Ultra HDTV (available now).

— $220 off a Toshiba 55-inch Class LED Smart 4K Ultra HDTV (Friday doorbuster).

Dell
Starts 8 a.m. EST on Nov. 15

Dell will run Black Friday deals from Nov. 15 through Nov. 24. Rolling doorbusters will begin on Thanksgiving at 11 a.m. EST and end on Black Friday at 8 p.m. EST.

Here are top deals from the sale:

— $100 off a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop (available Nov. 15 at 8 a.m. EST).

— $120 off an Inspiron 14 3000 laptop (6 p.m. EST Thanksgiving doorbuster).

— $300 off Alienware Aurora gaming desktop (11 a.m. EST Thanksgiving doorbuster).

— $130 off a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 laptop (8 a.m. EST Black Friday doorbuster).

Kohl’s
Open 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving
Open midnight on Black Friday

Kohl’s is opening its doors at 5 p.m. on Thursday and won’t close them until Black Friday night. The store is unveiling Black Friday deals even earlier on Kohls.com, where shoppers can snatch offers beginning at 12:01 a.m. CST.

Top doorbusters and deals will include:

— $120 off a Samsung Blu-ray player.

— $150 off a Hboard 2.0 Hoverboard.

— $19.99 for select toys.

— 70 to 75 percent off fine jewelry.

— 60 to 75 percent off luggage.

Macy’s
Open 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving
Open 6 a.m. on Black Friday

Macy’s opens on Thanksgiving in the evening and in the wee hours of the morning on Black Friday. The retailer has hinted at huge savings sitewide and published a preview of some of its doorbusters and top deals online.

Some of the holiday specials available, starting on Thanksgiving, include:

— $70 off a series 1 Apple Watch.

— Up to 60 percent off women’s designer coats.

— 50 percent off men’s shoes.

— $14.99 to $19.99 for select men’s dress shirts.

— $34.99 for reversible eight-piece bedding ensembles.

Petco
Closed on Thanksgiving
Open on Black Friday (check local hours)

Keeping its sale short and sweet, Petco will stay closed on Thanksgiving and won’t make deals available until Friday and Saturday. On Black Friday, the pet store will hold a “pet party,” inviting pets into the store and rewarding the first 25 shoppers with a gift.

The pet store will be offering these holiday specials, starting on Black Friday:

— A free pair of holiday antlers for a dog or cat with any purchase.

— Buy one, get one 50 percent off select dog food.

— 50 percent off select cat food.

— Buy one, get one free cat treats.

— 50 percent off entire dog treat bar.

Open 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving

Sears celebrates every Black Friday with a storewide sale. Deals will be available all day on Thanksgiving. These deals will be available, starting on Black Friday:

— Up to 40 percent off appliances.

— Up to 50 percent off tools.

— 60 percent off handbags.

— 60 percent off kids outerwear.

Staples
Closed on Thanksgiving
Open 7 a.m. on Black Friday

Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Staples will open its doors early on Black Friday at 7 a.m. local time. A leaked ad reveals deals on office supplies, furniture and electronics.

Here are some of the leaked deals that will begin on Black Friday:

— $29.99 for an Amazon Echo Dot.

— $8 to $24.49 on drones.

— 50 percent off select office chairs.

— 40 percent off custom invitations and cards.

Target
Open 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving
Open 6 a.m. on Black Friday

Target will open stores at 6 p.m. local time on Thanksgiving, but offer deals “early Thanksgiving morning” on Target.com. Target ran a one-day preview sale in early November, and will offer RedCard holders early access to the sale, starting Nov. 22. These deals will be available during the Black Friday sale:

— $90.99 off Xbox One S 500 GB console, plus $25 Target gift card.

— 1,000 toys for less than $10.

— 2,000 toys for less than $20.

— 13 TVs for less than $300.

— Buy one, get one 50 percent off hundreds of beauty gift sets.

Walmart
Open 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving
Open 12 a.m. on Black Friday

Like many of its fellow big-box chains, Walmart is teasing shoppers with early Black Friday deals beginning Nov. 9. “Opening Act” offers are available online only. The majority of Walmart Black Friday deals will be released at midnight EST on Thanksgiving Day before stores open in the evening. Stores will remain open until Black Friday close (check hours locally).

Noteworthy offers include:

— $398 for a 55-inch UHD 4K Full Array LED TV (available now).
