WEDNESDAY EVENING:
Partly cloudy. Breezy
Temperatures: 40s to 30s
Winds: Northwest 10-20, Gusts to 25 mph
It will remain blustery this evening and overnight, so plan for lower wind-chills for your evening plans.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT:
Partly cloudy. Breezy
Lows: 28-35
Winds: Northwest 10-15, Gusts 25 mph
Colder weather settles in overnight with low temperatures falling below the freezing mark. Any water on the roads or sidewalks from the melting snow could refreeze, so watch for icy spots. Gusty breezes will continue overnight, so plan for lower wind-chills in the teens and low 20s.

THURSDAY:
Partly sunny. Breezy
Highs: 38-45
Winds: Northwest 10-15, Gusts 25 mph
Wake-up wind chills in the teens and 20s will give way to a colder afternoon with high temperatures on either side of 40 degrees. Gusty breezes will continue to make it feel colder. Wind chills will peak in the low 30s during the afternoon with the wind diminishing at night.

FRIDAY:
Partly cloudy
Highs: 40-45
Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph
Attention turns to a developing weather maker that could set the stage for a possible weekend storm, but confidence is still very low this far out. First Alert Weather continues to watch this closely as guidance continues to shift on track, cold air and timing.

SATURDAY:
Mostly sunny
Highs: 50s
Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph
Saturday is trending like the “better” day of the weekend, dry and milder than average as an area of high pressure hangs on. With the potential incoming storm timing looking more focused on Sunday and Sunday night, Saturday should be good for plans, and any leftover breeze should be fading later in the day.

SUNDAY:
Areas of rain possible. Wintry weather chance far west
Highs: 40s
Winds: East 5-10 mph
First Alert Weather is still tracking a potential wintry weather maker Sunday into Sunday night, but confidence is dropping as the latest forecast guidance trends the track farther south, lowering the odds for D.C. There’s still a non-zero chance of some wintry weather, but amounts (and even whether it reaches the metro) remain highly uncertain, especially with temperatures likely struggling to support meaningful accumulation.
