Sleeper Picks for NFL Week 5
Sunday’s NFL slate is a good one, and the best part about Sleeper is obviously making the picks. With that in mind, here were a few of my favorite picks for Sunday’s action
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills QB: More 228.5 passing yards
Josh Allen has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league this season, as expected. It’s been a bit of an underwhelming year for quarterbacks who we assumed would be at the top of the league, but Allen has the Bills flying at 4-0 on the year. I think he’ll show off a little in prime time.
Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles RB: More 0.5 anytime TDs
How do you go against Saquon Barkley at this point? The Eagles running back has found the end zone 3 times this year and always elevates his play in big games. I consider this a big game because the Broncos have one of the better defensive units in the league. This guy rarely lets me down.
Cam Ward, Tennessee Titans QB: Less 184.5 passing yards
Cam Ward is not the problem over in Nashville with the Tennessee Titans. He has no help, Tennessee just has to build around him. I think he could be a pretty decent NFL quarterback, but he just has no chance right now. Tennessee faces a Cardinals defense that has been great through 4 games, too. I trust Saquon to elevate himself in games like that – but not a rookie with no help.
As yyou can see, I did well with Allen on Sunday Night Football and Saquon Barkley found the end zone via the air despite just six carries, but Cam Ward tripped me up in the Titans’ wild win over the Cardinals.
