T.Rex, zombie, blown mind: Apple unveils new emoji

WASHINGTON — Feeling starry-eyed? Like a zombie? Is your mind blown? Pretty soon you won’t have to put it into words.

Apple on Monday announced a host of new emoji coming to their iOS, macOS and watchOS systems. Some of the designs include the above emotional states, as well as a bearded man, a breast-feeding woman, a woman with a headscarf, a T.Rex, a sandwich, a coconut and more.

The company said in a statement that the emojis would be released later this year. Apple said it was releasing images of the new emoji because Monday is World Emoji Day.
