WASHINGTON — Police in Prince George’s County are investigating an apparent homicide in the 1500 block of Ray Road in Chillum, Maryland.
We are on scene of a homicide investigation in the 1500 block of Ray Rd. in Chillum. At about 12:20 am officers responded to the location for the sound of shots. Once on scene officers discovered a woman outside suffering from gun shot wounds. She was pronounced dead on scene. pic.twitter.com/X1D0zppJof

Police said they responded to the location for the sound of shots a little before 12:30 a.m.
Once police arrived, they found a woman suffering from gun shot wounds. She was declared dead on the scene.
Detectives are still on the scene working to establish any motive or suspects in the case.
