WASHINGTON — A shooting victim crashed his car into a tree in Prince George’s County Tuesday afternoon and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
County police were called to Ladova Way in Springdale for a report of a car crash about 1 p.m. When officers arrived, they found an empty car that had hit a tree on the residential street, but no driver.
Investigators learned the driver of the car had been shot and that he had already been taken to the hospital.
Police have not released the man’s name.
