WASHINGTON — Police are looking for an inmate who walked away from his road crew detail in Hillcrest Heights, Maryland.
Errol Vailes was last seen working at Oxon Run Park on Oxon Run Drive about 12:30 p.m.
Vailes, who is housed at the Southern Maryland Pre-Release Unit in Charlotte Hall, is serving a six-year sentence for possessing drugs and a deadly weapon.
Vailes is a black man who stands 5 feet 10 inches, and weighs 170 pounds. His last known address is along the 5700 block of Gladstone Way in Capitol Heights, Maryland.
Vailes, 24, has brown eyes and black hair. Call 911 if you come in contact with him.
