WASHINGTON – A 60-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection to her mother’s death in Chillum.
According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, officers were called to a home on Knollbrook Drive around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Police found 94-year-old Margaret Ellen Wells with apparent stab wounds. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say their preliminary investigation indicates Wells had been in an argument with Michelle Miriam Davis, 60, prior to the stabbing. Davis, the daughter of Wells, was on the scene when officers arrived.
Davis was charged with first and second degree murder.
