Basketball legend Bill Walton died Monday at the age of 71 and the WTOP Sports team welcomes film director Steve James, whose documentary series “The Luckiest Guy in the World” took a deeper look into the iconic Hall of Fame player and unique broadcaster that was as polarizing in front of a microphone as he was as an injury-riddled MVP center. James delves into his inspiration for the docuseries, Walton’s lasting legacy and who he’d like to be the focus of his next sports docuseries.
