WTOP Entertainment Reporter Jason Fraley chats with two-time Oscar winner Russell Williams, who won Best Sound on “Glory” and “Dances with Wolves” to become the first Black two-time Oscar winner. They discussed his historic career in 2016 when he donated his Oscars to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. They also reunited this year to discuss the Academy’s decision to scrap eight categories, including Best Sound, from the live telecast on Sunday.
