Restaurant Brands: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

MIAMI (AP) — MIAMI (AP) — Restaurant Brands International (QSR) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $507 million.

The Miami-based company said it had net income of $1.45 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to $1.07 per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.03 per share.

The operator of Burger King and Tim Hortons restaurant chains posted revenue of $2.52 billion in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.5 billion.
