On a per-share basis, the Seoul, Korea, Republic Of-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents.
The maker of monitors and panels for TVs, phones and other products posted revenue of $4.97 billion in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $159.3 million, or 21 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $18.16 billion.
