The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.63 per share.
The biopharmaceutical company posted revenue of $354.3 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $337.1 million.
Halozyme Therapeutics expects full-year earnings in the range of $6.10 to $6.50 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.3 billion to $1.38 billion.
