The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 18 cents per share.
The drug developer posted revenue of $207.6 million in the period, also falling short of Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $219.2 million.
Corcept expects full-year revenue in the range of $800 million to $850 million.
