The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $4.15 per share.
The financial data firm posted revenue of $596.9 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $592.6 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $597 million, or $15.55 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.32 billion.
FactSet expects full-year earnings in the range of $16.90 to $17.60 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.42 billion to $2.45 billion.
